FXDESIGNCARS
Hey Everyone, Has anybody done business with FXDESIGNCARS? I am thinking of ordering a Hood for my Cls55. I have lorinser fenders and Prior design side skirts and rear bumper. I really like the hood they offer, but I am concerned about the quality compared to Loreniser and Prior wich fit perfectly. If any of you guys could give me some feed back that would be great! Thanks.

Thanks for the reply Sir-boost-a-lot. Prior was my first choice also, but theirs is just a center overlay that is cut and fiberglassed onto the factory hood. the cost for the body work plus the $1500 for the prior overlay was ridiculous. So I ended up with the fx design whole hood just had it test fitted and is perfect. I'll post some pics when it's finished.

I thought you were mistaken in what you were saying about the Prior hood but you were correct. $1500 for what is essentially a glorified glue-on hood scoop? I'm not sure whose genius idea that was but inhaling fumes from fiberglass polyester resin might have had something to do with it.

Hey Man, No Kidding is that crazy or what!! I agree the designers at Prior a sniffing a bit too much of something!!! My car will finally be done Monday. I'll post some picks this coming week. I think it looks great so far, I think the quality is just as good as both my prior and lorinser body parts. Let me know what you think when their posted.

looks great i love the hood and the other mods you've done to the car. Just looked up fxdesigncars and they seem to have some really nice pieces. Theyre local to me in Bensenville Illinois.
