Insides of rear tires wearing oddly

The insides of only my rear tires are now showing the wires. The tires themselves are getting pretty low on tread and nearing replacement not enough to where I think it should have caused this.
Is this a normal thing on these cars with the IRS and stock camber or is this a problem anyone else has experienced??
My front tires are better off on tread life than the rears and the insides are showing no signs of increased wear thus far.

Unfortunately, no adjustment is possible. You have 2 choices - K-MAC bushing
Kits or a high tread wear rated tire and hope to get a year of use from them.
My SL55 has over 2 deg. of negative camber on the rear and has the same issue with wear on the inside edge of the tire. I think your in the same boat with
the CLS.

Like clsjack said - unfortunate, but it's common for us all. Here's my hankook v12 Evo two weeks ago. Front right, 10k miles. Hopefully the new evo2's I now have last a bit longer. Doubt it but hopeful.

Wow! That's awful for a tire that appears to have a lot of tread life left in it. Luckily my fronts aren't noticeably wearing yet. Have you thought about the K-Mac bushing kits so you can adjust camber? It's crazy to me they'd produce these cars with a negative camber that causes so much damage and not leave owners the option of adjusting it.

I actually did some brief research on the forum a few weeks back...one person stated that it affected his handling more than he preferred and went back to the stock set up. So with that in mind, along with the fact that it took me 4 years to get 10k out of these tires, I've decided to just keep it the way it is. Side note: I do have 20" staggered wheels, ride in sport 1 + 1.2" drop front & 1" drop rear (city driving only). So that probably doesn't help me much. While on the highway its strictly comfort mode though, no drop.

Yowzer that looks hideous! Can't believe the rest of the tyre has so much tread left, what a waste. Will be checking mine out as soon as I get back home.. I think the lowered suspension definitely hurts it all!
