CLS 63 Throttle Blip Hesitation
Hello,
Current C55 owner seriously considering a low-ish miles CLS 63. Visited dealer to see car and started it from cold. Car settled into a smooth idle, no unusual valve train noise or ticking. So I did some very gentle throttle blips - gotta hear that exhaust - nothing above 1,500 RPM. Noticed that there was a hesitatation or "cough" before the RPM increase.
I drove it and noticed no power hesitation at all. So is the "cough" normal when cold? Maybe a strange question but knowing about the valve train and head-bolt issue, I am overly sensitive. Great car though!
Thanks,

My 2011 CLS63 has a slight hesitation when I depress the gas. I thought it was normal...
I have heard from people that you do start it and let it run for a min or 2 just to get things warmed up and oil flowing before you take off...
78k miles so far and no issues...

Thanks for the reply. It was fine after warmup. A few searches on YouTube and I've heard the same from cold-start M156 motors.
Thanks!
