Radio cut out and noise
Hello all, this anamoly just started yesterday where when listening to the radio, CD, CD changer, or aux input the sound cuts out every 45 sec or so and a high pitched screeching nose emits from all speakers for about a second. I restored factory defaults and tried different sounds settings like standard and speech along with logic 7. Any clues? Everything would fine other than that. My CLS 55 AMG had the Harmon Kardon system in it. Thanks in advance!

Replace GPS Antenna
Hello - I had a similar issue with my w211 E class. The issue (for me) was the GPS antenna, it had gone bad. Is your navigation functioning properly (correct location/coordinates, displaying satellites?).
I bought a cheap - powered - antenna off of Amazon, and connected it directly to the navigation unit in the trunk (I bypassed the splitter because i did not need SOS functions). Once I put in the new antenna, the beeping stopped all together, and my navigation became fully functional.

The you kindly for all the information! I let the car sit for a few days and now and does not have the same issue now, I had been getting an error message for tele-aid function not working intermittently and telling me to drive to a dealer. Do you think that had any correlation?
