CLS55 AMG Road noise

As a new owner of a 2006 CLS55 AMG, I am very disappointed in the quality of the sound proofing in these cars. This car only has 34k miles on it and expected much better from a $100K vehicle. Having been driving a 2003 S class, which road like a dream compared to this. You could talk at a whisper doing 90 MPH in my S class. So, I'm wondering if anyone has tried any soundproofing on these models to quiet them up? I'm running brand new Michelin Pilots, perhaps they're the cause? Factory 19 inch wheels and the super wide tires probably doesn't help.
Does everyone's ride this loud? Am I expecting too much?

i have a bit of wind noise from the window seals at the driver and passenger doors.
it's not terrible but i havent put a decible meter to it either......

there will definitely be some sacrifice in the noise levels with our frameless doors vs a fully framed door

Fruntron, did you see my email I sent you? Inquiring about bench testing the pneumatic pump for the seats. What wires require the 12v for it to run? I tried different configurations with no results. Opened it up, and applied 12v directly to the motor and it runs. Draws a lot of current. Also checked the relay on the board and it fires. Also checked all the fuses in the trunk, all good. Which is the fuse for the pump?
Thanks!!!,
