Hi all: I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. I just picked up a 2006 CLS55 with 35k miles. So far, I love it. I'm spending a lot of time reading up on the forum and I need to address a few things:
1. Apparently, my car doesn't have the connection in the console for the Bluetooth puck.
2. My dynamic seats aren't working. I understand the pump is typically the culprit.
3. The car is missing the spare tire and tools (yet I think the jack is there).
I look forward to learning a lot and being an active part of the forum!
Welcome and congrats on the CLS55, what color do you have? For the dynamic seats so other functions work including bolsters minis dynamic function when steering or nothing works? There is a setting in the menu from steeerst wheel controls that you can turn on/off dynamic seats function and choose whether you want soft or forceful more when cornering.
Thanks so much. So far I ordered a set of coco mats, removed the film over there wheel arches. I thought I’d live with it before I start messing with it. I think my first mod is removal of the resonator. It needs to sound like it has 500hp. Other than that, I have to be careful not to do anything that will void the warranty.
Great looking car, is it a designo edition with the interior piano black accents? I hear you on the removal of resonators! Needs to have some more bark! Is there an aftermarket boltup resonator delete option or do they have to be cut oyt and new pipe welded up? I would definitely want it done right.
