Question Tire experts...

I have pirelli p-zero tires and they run narrower then the average tire. What brands run wider? For example, on my other car (300c) I have 275/25/24, and I let them sale me Nexxon Tires (which I regret ) But I turned around and bought pirelli's and they were narrower. It was very noticeable. So for my CLS I'm about to get a set of wheels and I needed some feedback from you guys thats done it....I was thinking Toyo or falken... What do you guys think?

I'd recommend Michelin for durability, stickiness and all around great performance. I'm not sure about stock sizes for 2011. What size wheels are you getting?
I run a 255/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rears, but I have 11 inch rear wheels that can take a 305. Just depends on what size wheels.......

Thanks for responding... I'm stock now but shopping wheels. I'll be going 20x9 in front with a 255/30/20, and 20x11 in the rear with a 305/25/20. I just know from experience that some brands run smaller then others. I ran into that with the Pirelli's I have on my other car...

Sounds like you have sizes narrowed down, just need to settle on tires/price. I was recently quoted 1300 front and rear for PS4, however in 19 not 20.

Good luck

I was looking at the Toyo's and the Falken's, but something in the back of my head is saying get the Michelin's.... I've had great luck with the Pirelli's but they run small. I don't want to stretch the tire on... I was gonna go 21 but the rim selection is minimal, and 22 is too big... Don't like the 4x4 look so 20 it is...

I'm not familiar with the other tires you mentioned, my only working experience is with Michelin tires......been riding on them MANY years. And if they don't live up to their mileage warranty you get a pro rated price.
Michelin for life!

Yeah, I'm leaning towards Michelin ... Toyo and falken are more so used on Honda's, Infinity, sport imports, etc... Both has great reviews but I'm still leaning towards Michelin ....

I run Continental DWS06 extreme contacts and have had these tires on other card. They wear like iron and privide tons of grip and great hydroplaning resistance too. Prices are not to bad either. I had a set of Bridgestone potenza S04s and they offered great grip but do not last long.
