Audio noob, please help [2008 CLS 63 AMG]
Hello all,
I was curious if there are any "cheap" (<$400) 1din or 2din headunits available for the W219 CLS 63 AMG with the following criteria:
- steering wheel controls compatible (volume / change tracks)
- bluetooth connection to stream music from my android phone
- radio
- SD card OR micro SD card OR USB memory card compatibility (to play music off my SD card // micro SD card // USB drives)
*bonus (not a requirement) - backup camera compatible, I don't care if the screen is small*
Alternatively, if you have a great bang for your buck Android headunit purchased off Aliexpress/Amazon/Ebay, please provide URL

I've seen dudes get gear from crutchfield, but not sure if they have the dash kit. They might, but you would have to check. It should take any double din radio... Do a google search, then look under images... They should also have all the harnesses to allow you steering wheel controls and stuff work like normal....

Your choice of the headunit doesn't matter as much as the integration interface. There are plenty of 2 din HUs in all price ranges. However, you need to buy the CAN-bus interface for the (SW controls, aftermarket HU integration, switch, and ground sources.....). Moreover, you will need the MOST box if you have the factory HK sound system, and finally, the surround bezel/ trim and cage.
I just installed a Kenwood HU in my ML with the HK system and everything is excellent!
I bought the unit from eBay and the rest as a one kit from http://www.connects2.com/.
