Help buying a CLS55
Hi Guys,
I have always loved the CLS body style and now that I am older I have been running through cars that I have always wanted to own. next on my list is a CLS55. Also, i roughly drive 3-4k miles a year. but i would like to take this on a longer road trip (NY to TN and NY to Toronto )
I have narrowed it down to a few choices.
the 1st is located close to me and is in a beautiful red color. however it has 82k on it. I have never owned a Benz with that many miles.

the 2nd is a black one (comes with HRE wheels) similar price range with 75k miles on it, but i still prefer the red one (considering its closer would save in shipping)

3rd is a bit more expensive (but can still make an offer) and it has 38k on the clock, but again asking 22k. ( I really do not want to spend more than 15k on a 2nd car)

I did see a 09 cls63 with 43k miles on it for 23k.

I’d recommend checking out the red one, since it’s close by. Looks good in the pics & they’re willing to negotiatie the price. Very rare color too.
The Mileage wouldn’t scare me at all. Ask if they have maintenance records & if not, Spring for a PPI.
You'll be glad you did & any issues found can be useful to negotiate the price down.
Airmatic leaks & RMS leaks are a couple things to look for.
