Rebuilding / transferring motor
Ok so I have an 06 CLS55 AMG the motor smoked on I’m swapping out the motor from my 03 SL55 AMG. My question is since I have the motors out I’m running a 74mm fixed scp and wanting to upgrade throttle body but I’ve heard of people having issues with this under the fixed pulley. Is this true or what is the resolution. I was thinking 90mm as I’ll be doing new heads and cams soon as well. Any help is appreciated

You'll want to post this in the E55 AMG sub-forum. Lots of discussions on pulleys and throttle bodies in the past few weeks. Your W219 and our W211 models are effectively the same car with different sheet metal and interiors.
