CLS55 Eurotune
Hi Everybody,,

New to the forum and the 55 club.

After a lot of research and thought Ive decided to only mildly modify my CLS55.

Im considering the Eurocharge

Mercedes CLS Performance Engine Software - CLS 55 AMG

upgrade and was wondering of anybody has done this on a stock standard car.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Not on a stock car but I did the EC tune, 83mm pulley, and upgraded heat exchanger with some pretty good gains. I'd do this again in a heartbeat, there is a dyno in my build thread in this section.

Appreciate the feedback.

I’m curious as to the results of JUST the ECU tune though.

They mention the following results on their site:
  • Stock HP: 476
  • Stock TQ: 516
  • Tuned HP: 540
  • Tuned TQ: 605
Thats a 64HP and and 89TQ increase which would be amazing!

Almost too good to be true really...

Those numbers look to be crank HP.

I'd guess that rear wheel hp would be between 80-85% of those numbers. I'd imagine that you'd be looking somewhere above or below 430 rear wheel hp with the tune.

Yes I’d say your absolutely correct re at the crank.

Which for less than $500 thats great value for money.

Ended up doing this tune and couldn’t be happier. Far more responsive and much more torque.
