CLS55 poor head light output

Hi Everyone,

So my head light performance has gone really poor, I have changed the Xenon lamps but this didn’t make any difference.

I have read that the projectors can burn out, there are companies selling replacement projectors but looks like a big job to change them.

Has anyone any experience of this?

Cheers
Ian

I have also noticed my light output not performing the same. I havnt even changed out bulbs yet though, disappointing to hear that did nothing for you.

I run aftermarket hid low beams, and LED high beams. The high beams had to be glued in, because I couldn't get the right retainer clip.

Make sure there's no hazing on the outer lens. Hazing can also occur with inner projectors, but it's rare if properly sealed. Also, not all HID bulbs are created equal. Maybe try stepping up to a higher end HID bulb?
