Question....I found a set of seats that has the dynamic option and my vehicle does not. I'm not interested in making that work. Just doing a swap for color and condition. I am wondering if the seats will plug in and work with the standard adjustments even though the new seats have the dynamic option. Anyone have any experience there????

What you really have to check is that the connectors for the seats are identical. Also are the new seats from a CLS? I bought a E63 seat for my CLS because my passenger seat was ripped. I had to end up swapping over the cushion to my seat rail and also add the seat occupancy sensor from my old seat. That’s why I mentioned to check that the connectors are the same.

Yes the seats are also from the same year CLS. They just have the dynamic feature. They are not local to me so it may be hard to get a picture of the connector but gotta start somewhere!

I think you should be good. They are from the same car. From my understanding you may be able to unlock the dynamic seat function to work on your car. It has to be done through the star system. I could be wrong, I’m sure I’ve seen a post about it.

That would be great if they worked..... Just wasn't going to spend an exorbitant amount of time or money to do it. I did a little more research and it seems that the connectors are the same so I will get the seats and install them and cross my fingers!!
