SBC fitting leak, can I fix it?

I recently purchased my CLS 55.

I have a brake fluid leak on the top of my SBC.
It looks as though its right around the line that goes from the SBC to the brake fluid reservoir. I noticed that the overflow reservoir was over full, way higher than max. I was hoping that what was occurring was that as I drove it and the fluid heated up and expanded and that it forced its way out of the system by going out of the spring clamp that holds the return line from the SBC to the reservoir.

I cleaned the SBC and sucked down the reservoir below max. I haven't had an opportunity to drive the car since, however there is more brake fluid build up.

So with that I have a few questions:
1. Is the SBC always under high pressure even when not being driven?
2. Can I fix this leak by replacing an o-ring or something?
3. Does anyone know if this is the sort of thing that would be covered under the SBC warranty?

Check on Recall Status

I have an 06 & had to pay the dealer $2200 to replace mine. They later issued a recall and sent me a letter & a check. Call the service department and ask them if you give them your vin if they’ll check for any recalls for you.

Did yours have a similar leak to mine?

I'm calling MB usa today to see if they will cover it.
