Hey rip out the secondary cats and put a x pipe there. Further forward the x pipe is the better. If you send the cats to some guy on the w211 amg forum he pays good money for em maybe as much as 600 usd. He paying 1200 for all 4...if you send him all 4 you could probably use that cash for some long tubes!

As for sourcing as x pipe... It's a generic part surely any competent exhaust shop in your area can supply and fit it for like 300 usd. It's really just match the pipe diameter 2.75 inch and grab x pipe off the shelf they'd use for any car and cut and weld it in..

Is the original Exhaust size 2,75 inches ? Should you not buy a little bit bigger pipes such as 3 inches to weld them in ? Which size should i get ? I live in Sweden and got an offer for 9000 usd for this job ! Its really expensive here thats Why i am Alsing

Hey unless you get headers probably not worth getting 3 inch xpipe as it would go from 2.75 to 3 then back to 2.75 which might not be best for flow. The upgraded headers are 3 inch pipe back from the collector so for mine I have 3inch xpipe but it reduces to 2.75 just before my resonators anyway..

I think you need to shop around just go to general exhaust shops in your area there isn't anything special about these cars exhausts it's just pipes hanging from the bottom like any other..
