Anyone know if they plan to offer the panoramic sunroof as they showed on their concept vehicle?

 

My salesperson said it would be an available option.

 

According to the October 25th issue of Autoweek (I know . . . not the most reliable source in the world): "the all-glass roof will not be a CLS feature. The latter change is too bad, but CLS project development manager Anton Bäumel explains, 'Given the space required in the roof edges to hold the thermal glass, particularly in the forward part, headroom would have been too compromised. It would have required extensive structural changes, and the cost would have become prohibitive.'"

With the CLS's high door sills/small side window glass, you'd think the pano roof would be a natural, but go figure.

 

thats would truly suck if panaramic roof wasnt offered it looks much better with the roof

 

Especially for rear seat passengers - it may be pretty dark and cocoon-like back there.

 

As the sales person said the same it will avilable..

This is precisely why there is no Pano Roof available on the CLS. It pisses me off royaly but it wont stop me from buying the car!

 

Isn't the CLS available on netstar? Just ask to see if that option is available.

 

My dealer checked Netstar and told me that the panny is not an available option.
