I recently just blacked out the interior of my headlight housings. I really can't believe how easy and smooth this process was. The hardest part was getting the front bumper off, and quite frankly I'm a little concerned I might not get it back on properly. LoL. I heated the housings up in my oven at 185° for about 13-15 minutes and opened the right up.(the wife was away so I was in a rush to get these done before she found I used the oven to bake headlights.😂
To reseal them I heated them for about 6-8 minutes.
I really like the way this makes the car look taking all the Chrome out of the headlights except for the turn signal.
Supplies needed:
butyl rubber seal Scotch Brite pad
Rubbing alcohol
Spray primer
Spray can of color of your choice
While I was in there I replaced ally lights with LED bulbs. Only weird thing is I'm getting a high beam and parking light out signal, I assume I need some type of inline resistor. I'll have to research that some more.

All done, I did the fog lights with LEDs and had to wire in load resistors to not throw a code. I also installed LED H7 high beams but they throw a code and will need a load resistor installed.
