Hi Team.
So the other day I took my car out for a drive. At first everything was normal. I gave it a bit of gas and as usual it put a smile on my face.... But a few minutes later I went to do another pull and nothing.... It went into the "cool down" mode.
Since then I've swapped the charge air cooling relay, and I got myself a torque app set up... the IATs sit around 40-43C then go up to 45 when I give it WOT then quite quickly go back down to 43 ish but, the car stays in **** mode for about 5 minutes.
To me it doesn't sound like the IC pump... IAT sensor?? any suggestions would be much appreciated

IATs are low enough. Even though I would double check that IC pump. Connect it on a 12v source and see if it flows. This can easily be done, see the video of the upgrade intercooler (around 3:54 mark)

Ok cheers I'll try that. I'm planning on upgrading the cooling anyway but I thought it was strange that the temps didn't get very high.

To verify the pump for the intercooler, connect your diagnostic system, go into the motor electronics section for actuations, and you can toggle the intercooler pump on and off. Just toggle it on and then put your ear down there in the front or place your hand on the pump motor and see if it is running. You can also pinch off the line to the intercooler just below the bleed port on the hard line in front of the valve cover on the front of the engine, attach a clear plastic tube from the bleed port back to the coolant reservoir and then toggle the pump on. If there is any air in the system that will remove the air as you watch the bubbles flow through the clear plastic tubing. That is the method for bleeding the intercooler circuit.

@thegrem78 I dont know if you used Torque for fault scanning, but its best to scan it with star or a proper fault scanner. The apps usually dont show all information that a star setup (or proper scanner) does show
