Hello,

I took apart my front left door (driver door) in preparation of changing the window regulator as it started to grind. I opened up the door to confirm the issue. As I put everything back I noticed the door lock actuator does not lock or unlock with the key fob. I can use the mechanical key to manually unlock the door. This was never an issue before I opened the door. The only piece that was touched out of the actuator assembly was the rod that sticks out that indicates if the door is locked or not. I'm not sure if my disassembly may have messed with the rod and somehow affected the actuator.

Please let me know if there is any solution.

Did the electrical connector get pulled loose or the wires pinched?

Nope. I only took the door card off to see the regulator. I didn't touch anything beyond the insulation. At one point there was tension on that rod so I could pull the insulation off but it wasn't flexed a crazy amount. All the electrical connectors from the door were plugged back in.
