I know this topic has been discuss several times on here. But I would like to discuss some data points that I have gone through.
I own a 2007 cs 63 AMG and one fuel injector got stuck open. When I started it, it blew the manifold into numerous pieces. I found the reason after pulling the manifold off, found 3 cups fuel sitting in the manifold and #3 piston. That was the root reason, after further investigation on the injector found debris
was clogging the injector. On mine which should be the same stock has everyone else, I found no inlet filtering in any of the injectors. Found the in tank filter extremely dirty. I believe if there was adequate filtering this would not be a issue. I have also read where the travel distantance in he injector is farther than most other injectors and this is why they are getting stuck open.
So for all I would suggest a filter be installed in the fuel line going to the injector manifold in the engine bay.
So I would like to hear from others on this opinion and if reusing the injectors con and pros. And what is the largest cc injector can can run stock for future upgrades.
