I don’t know what he should really do, here’s a picture of where it’s leaking from, they are asking a ridiculous price to “fix” the oil leak. Any help would be appreciated.
Did this mechanic or this shop give you any other indication where the actual leak is coming from? All oil will drain to gravity is there a specific place like a gasket or the oil filter area or the heads or the turbo?
presumably, if they gave you a price to fix it that included the actual concern that they had as to what needed to be fixed. Do you want to share that with the forum here so we can help you better?
