CLS 550 - Rear Suspension Keeps Dropping

Hi everyone, I am experiencing the rear suspension dropping on a 2007 CLS 550. The pump lifts it when the car is started. Once the car is not lifting anymore, I can hear air from the passenger side rear tire/wheel weld area for a few minutes and it stops. I can drive the car with no problems. However, once it sits for a day or so the rear end lowers again. I'm trying to figure out how I can tell what the problem be (shock/air bag/fitting, etc.). Has anyone experienced this and if so what was the problem? Thanks.

You will need a hand spray bottle of soapy water and use it on all fittings, lines and such to find the leak.

Thanks, I've tried that already. No luck so far. I will say that if the rear passenger tire is not on the ground (not bearing weight), the air leak is not heard. As soon as the tire, hits the ground, the air leak can be heard as described

Probably needs the weight on the suspension to force the leak. Quite posssilby the air spring is where it is leaking. There are some newer vendors providing cost effective options for replacement.

It’s definitely the passenger side rear system. Given that it appears to be weight bearing induced I’d look for lines or block as the spring itself would do it regardless of weight. Good luck[

Finally got around to fixing this. The right rear airbag had a leak. I replaced it with OE (rebuilt) air bags from Mercedes that came with the air tanks and hoses, as well. Soon after, the left airbag started to leak and I went back and changed it, as well.
Most shops will say that you have to drop the subframe to change the tank but I was able to do it without dropping the subframe.

Also, I heard stories of new air bags collapsing right being installed. There is a procedure for not blowing out the air bags after changing them at least if you are going with replacement OE bags from Mercedes. The Foxwell diagnosis scanner walks you through the procedure. The key is not allowing any weight pressure on the air bag or torquing it down before allowing it to fill with air in a 3-step process first.

Here is a screenprint of the instructions:
