1) "DONT OPEN THE HOOD" Said the big bad brabus man. "It is still under development" UH HU
2) The car had springs and shocks NOT Airmatic. Airmatic is standard on all 500's and not on the 350's.
3) Higher Redline seen on the new 3.5L motor but NOT on the old 3 valve V8.
It was clear that it was not a 500 or anything special.

It still looked great but I cant get over that back seat... its smaller than a W203 in some aspects.

Does anyone know if the car is there as of 12/21/04? I'm in the area (unfortunately w/o my digital camera) and would like to stop and take a look.

Nevermind...it's there and it's spectacular. I've had a grin on my face all day over it. Place your orders without regret.

Smile Rear Seat Room OK to Me

I sat in the back seat of the CLS and had my 6'2" tall buddy sit in the front seat so that he was comfortable and I was able to sit in the back seat (I am also 6'2" tall). It was snug but not uncomfortable. The back of the rear seats are recessed for your knees, which makes it possible for two guys our size to fit. - Bob
