06 CLS55 Misc Electrical Issues, Where Do I Start?
I have an 06 CLS55 with an interior can low short to ground (9313) and having dificulty coding in new modules that were replaced (NAV and rear SAM had signs of corosion, replacing NAV fixed NAV issues and rear SAM was replaced aswell). New rear SAM, BCM (Interior lights flickered and randomly turned on, this fixed it), and CGW. The CGW and the rear SAM are likely not recoverable, so guessing and looking at the other codings is all I really have. Attempting to virginize the last CGW ended up wiping all firmware off of it and leaving a module I couldnt get the right firmware versions for and never seemed to fully function afterwards. New one is just not reading oil level, and I cannot change ASSYST service data or the previous odometer. Drive auth is wrong, but as it stands the car starts, runs, and drives with only an SRS light that I can only find an intermittent AB specified CAN config error, leading me to think its the airbag or the module itself since the steering buttons are a bit wonky sometimes and change function. Getting somewhere with this thing has been a battle I would like to see finished.
