CLS dates of release.....
I received an email from my dealer saying the CLS500 would be....screw it, cut and pasted:
Hi Todd,
We just received a press release from corporate that states the CLS500 rollout is slated for January17th with the CLS55 to follow "a few weeks later" Your car is due to hit port around the 8th and I'm sure will sit until they release them nationally. I will keep you up to date as we get closer.
So it sounds like mid-february for them to release the cars. Take it for what it's worth.

Even if you simply look at the "purpose" for this car--the reason it was designed--all indications are that the rear compartment will be smaller.

If you sit in the back, and ignore the high beltline and low roof and what sort of objective feeling it may impart, the seatroom is pretty much identical to a W211.

i was thinking a CL and compared to the CL the CLS is bigger and more of a refreshed look then the CL. and the CL is gone soon anyway.

I guess coloration can have a lot to do with it. I think my E-class feels small inside because it is all dark: charcoal leather, black wood, etc. But then again, an all-black S-class doesn't have that feeling.
