Trunk Lid badges?
Noticed that the trunk lid badges are missing. Were they removed or are they a dealer installed item before delevery to the customer? - Bob

No wood trim wheel for the amg?
Are you sure that sample has all the options. I thought a wood trim steering wheel was available. It is certainly listed as an option for the CLS500 in any event. (Trim Package - including wood wheel and shift knob.) On a side note I see from the new brochure those are the wheels that we also get in the US with the CLS55 AMG. IMHO though, they look too much like the wheels that came with the SLK350 launch edition, examples of which still seem to be stuck on a lot of dealers' lots. The Brabus look-a-like wheels that come with the AMG styling option on the CLS500 would be my preference. Actually, I suspect that the best value might well be to go with the CLS500 and get it loaded with all desirable options and the AMG styling kit. This still gives you the wheel mounted paddle shifters plus the new 7 speed transmission instead of the outdated 5 that is hobbled onto the CLS55 AMG. After all the CLS is more a styling statement than a performance one regardless of model.

Trim package
Thanks for checkiing the fine print LUV2X. I guess the paddle shifters complicate the steering wheel to make the trim kit too problematic to offer on the AMG kit or AMG model. I actually don't have a brouchure yet, but was relying on what I could see on the one scanned by one of the posters here which unfortunately blurred some of the fine print.

Never forget I am in Europe. We don't have such packages as you over there. The 19'' wheels are a option over here for about $1000. The 7 speed auto tranny is not available for any AMG at the moment. Only for the "normal" V8 engines. It will be available in the future but not yet.
The wood trim.....well it's looks just awful to me. I don't like it likt that!
