Pewter is a brownish-champagne color. Not that nice of a color IMO but thats just my taste. The 19's are standard unless you specify the 18's. Good luck.

A bucket on wheels
yeah man im not very keen on the pewter but some people like it. I would have opted for a flint gray or a black or even the white looks stunning. Either way you wont see the color from the inside when your head is planted against the head rest. Congrats

Not to rain on your parade, but my 1st E55 was stripped and I wasn't happy without Xenon and Nav etc. It was a simialr scenario; In my case my dealer was new and had 4 early production cars allocated as inventory so I grabbed one.
I was lucky because I immediatey ordered a well equipped car the same day. Six months later my new car arrived and then I was happy. Just my .02 worth.

That price doesnt make sense unless you are getting a huge discount, which i doubt. I think he forgot to mention the luxury and gas guzzler taxes as well as destination fee, and sales tax. A base car with sales tax is about $95,500K. The car is also without options, which isnt a big deal IMHO right now. Later on it will be. But being the beginning of the production run and these cars being so rare, people want one now even if it doesnt have options.
My take on the options is that they arent as valuable as say the SL because MB made this car so nicely appointed in standard trim. Pano roof is the most desirable option and isnt offered on the CLS55. The new STANDARD Harmon Kardon stereo has great separation and makes the windows rattle with ample bass. I dont see the Premium Harmon Kardon stereo and CD changer(which is part of the $3500 premium package) outdoing the standard system by much, and therefore i dont think it justifies it's price. You can get a CD changer installed for alot less than $500. The standard HK stereo is 100% better than my old SL55 stereo. Keyless go is ok. Distronic is ok too. But neither are dealbreakers right now. If you think about selling the car later, then the options will mean more.

Doing good
Doc - I see you are doing good on your ebay auction. Where I live the dealer sold his first CLS55 at $90,000.00 Of course we have no sales tax.
