My new CLS55
Hi guys! I was just surfing the web and came up with this site by chance and read a bunch of informative things. I am a big car nut like most people on here. I was in search of a CLS55 and living in Houston where people love cars also there is a waiting list of over a year. I wanted one a little sooner (being my needy self) 
I started my mission to located one in the country...with some time I found one in New Jersey (Prestige Mercedes) that had basically everything I wanted. So I just took ownership of my new 2006 Mercedes CLS 55 last week. It is Black,lighting package,Premium Pkg, Keyless Go,Trunk closer, Parktronics,Communication/Voice Package. The real good thing is that they sold it for MSRP, where as some other places wanted a starting of 10K over which I was not willing to pay. I had it shipped down in an enclosed trailor (let me know if you need contact to this company because they are the most professional and courteous people I have every dealt with in shipping my car).
Enough with my rambling I am going to post some pics of it as I picked it up, I hope you all enjoy!

go too www.photobucket.com hurry and register...download your pictures on too there and it willl automatically resize them and then add your pictures on here from there! hurry i cant wait to see your car!

Awesome, it worked! I hope you guys enjoy the pics....I had more but think this is enough? It looks extremely nice in real life btw. I had several comments from people of how "mean and muscular" it looked. The new 19 inch AMG wheels really bring out the car, but I am thinking of either getting chrome HRE's or Maidos, what do you think? Im a firm believer that a nice black mercedes needs nice chrome wheels to compliment it, lol. I was driving it around last weekend and it caused quite a bit of commotion

Howdy Ya'll! Just kidding...no we all dont talk like that down here. You will be suprised but there are so many people that have no clue that mercedes makes a car like this. I really like the chrome treatment inside the CLS 55. It reminds me of my CL55...makes it classy I think. I had reservations about trading in my 2004 E55 (black/black) but now I am very happy I made the decision. Someone asked.... live in north Houston (Spring).

very nice. im surprised also that the dealer in nj didnt drill for the front license plate as in this area you have to have plates front and back. if you ask them not to do it before or while the car is being shipped then they wont do it, is that what you did?

Pretty tight ride man! I like the CLS's more and more with every pic. Black is hot, but too hard to maintain as a daily driver for me. I think silver w/ 19" HRE's would look so hot.

Thanks guys....Nice meeting ya'll! Yes, my salesman asked if I wanted the front license plate bracket installed and I said NOOO way, even though it is required here in TX I never put mine on and take the chance. It really ruins the look of the vehicle in my opinion. Stiggs, the car looks extremely menacing in person esp. on a nice sunny day. Anyone considering buying a CLS really needs to spend a bit more and get the 55, otherwise you will regret it. Black is hard to maintain but well worth the extra effort and money with wax jobs, etc...but I tell you what...when it is clean...whoaaa! Cntlaw, the 55 comes with the 5speedshift...i think the regular CLS has the new 7G. Fikse, as with any dealer I think, I got pretty much raped with the trade in...it was in the low 70's. But I figured with the time and effort I save as well as with the tax credit when trading it in...it was basically the right choice. I may have made a few extra G's selling to a private owner but didnt wanna waste my time I'll try to take some more pics for ya'll soon.

My father has a black W211 E55 and my mother is starting to complain that it's too much like any other E series on the road and maybe the CLS55 will be the answer to her complaints.
