48 volt battery in m256 engine
Hi guys I own a CLS53 and I'm wondering about the functions of the 48 volt battery, I know that is powering the starter alternator and the coolant pump and maybe an e-turbo, I'm not 100% sure about that information. It would be very helpful if someone knows the functions of it. And where is it located? And what will happen if the car sets for too long and the 48v battery depleted? Will the engine starts?

as far as I know it.
1/ e-turbo (compressor)
2/ it helps start/stop so start/stop system is almost invisible
3/ coolant pump and air-conditioning compressor and I think oil pump
This battery eliminates all belts in the engine that normally are used for speed transmission. I have no idea where battery is located, but it has very powerful alternator in the gearbox. If car sets too long on 48V battery it will probably turn on the engine.

48V battery G1/3 is in the right side rear engine compartment under N83/1 DC-DC converter control unit. Function description attached.
