CLS53 winter tire package advise
Taking delivery of a 2019 CLS53 with 20" wheel option next week. Finding it difficult to find a winter or all season wheel package that is reasonable. All seasons might be a good option since Boston winters are nothing like they used to be. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Costco is starting Michelin tire deals... It depends on what you want eg PS4 AS UHP / Conti DWS 06+ will give you more summer performance with less winter performance in comparison to CrossClimates 2 which are all weather / all season tire with 3 peak mountain and snowflake (3PMSF) symbol to meet a snow traction requirement of a winter / snow tire. Crossclimates are closer to Alpin 5 winter tires and lags on dry/wet performance of UHP tires. Primacy is between UHP and CC choices.
Tiretrack winter test is similar:

Tiretrack tests are done in the same track loop, so putting the stopping distances with same car gives a good comparison:

i have the factory 20s and found that
245/40/19 (squared set up) with 8X19 with an offset of 25 work and fit fine with zero issues
i spent a lot of time trying to find out a smaller option then 20's and many shops wanted to see staggered set ups, not the greatest shot but they tuck nicely with the Lowering module
