Newbie C32 Owner From The Uk

Hi,

Just joined picked up my 2002 C32 last week after much looking about for something to replace my 1995 911 c2 its in silver with black leather its got command, sunroof, the nokia car kit (just need a nokia now) and a few other options.

Origionally i was looking for a E55 around 98/99 but was not quite sure because of the slightly dated interior and fuel consumption it was by chance i saw the C32 when at a dealer looking at a e46 m3 i saw it sitting there very subtle yet very hard looking, i took it for a spin and boy was i won over the sheer grunt of it but yet so drivable.

The 911 was wicked but sadly can not be left anywhere as due to its styling is recognised wherever i go and never blends in so i am always worried about it being left, but i cant belive how the C32 is a bit of everything, pratical, smooth, fast, big boot, auto, 4 doors etc etc wicked.

ive read on here about the pullies and ecu chip over here i can imagine its very expensive to do does it really make that much difference? also its not the best on fuel but maby this is my new toy heavy foot feeling the need to toe it everywhere does the pullies and chip make this much worse?

i see on someones post the little rear lip spoiler on the boot how nice does this look is this available in the uk?

at the moment there is not tv tuner in my car ive looked into this and using merc parts its very expensive ive found a company selling a av box for £250 which gives you a visual phono and left phono and a righ phono i have been quoted £250 for a tv tuner complete with rear screen ariels is this a good comprimise?

once again cheers and well done for a pukka website with loads of good info

Justin

2002 c32
Welcome!!

The c32 is everything you described and more... as you will experience first hand (Right foot down, head snap back).

I also TOTALLY agree that leaving a 911 unattended is much more laborious than with a c32.

PS. the gas pedal is still on the right in England isn't it???......
