need help! Brake pads...
Hey guys and gals,
I need some help, and so far the dealers have been more than useless.
I have a C55 and need some new aftermarket brake pads...the issue is that no one has this car in their systems yet. So what I need from someone is a list of other cars that share the same front brake pads.
Assuming they could look up the pads for a car on that list I would be able to use it on my car. I dont think the C32 front pads as they are a different part number than the C55 pad...but then that could just be something stupid mercedes did.

I could have sworn the C55 has the same AMG brake kit as the C32.

yea we got it all worked out finallly. The problem was that they didnt have any info on the c55, and the pad part number is diff from that of a c32...BUT the part number of the calipers is the same... so yes the c32 pads fit.

I have the porterfields on my car, and they work well once warmed up, but suck for drag racing(power brake launching). I am going to go back to the stock pads soon. If you plan to autox I would reccomend the PFields, but for street and strip use I would stay with the stock pads.
