I am second owner, anybody know if I can obtain plaque?

 

Probably not, or not worth the effort. First you would need to identify the master-tech who built it (unless you were thinking of sticking anyone's name on there). There there is the question of whether it would fit or how you would attach it. Why bother? It's just a marketing gimmick anyway. You (and anyone familiar with AMG) knows it was hand-assembled. However, maybe someone has done it already and has some tips to proceed if you are bent on trying. Search the archives also for some possible clues.

early 2002's did not come with the plaque on the engine. i dunno how you can get a hold of one without having to go through long process verification with amg, if you can do it at all.

 

i have an 02 and had my dealer look into this issue. it's not possible.
