triptronic question
in most cars with the auto stick i have driven, if your stopped and you go into manual it starts with 1st gear, or if your going slow it will go to 2nd, in this it seems when i go to manual mode, its always at 4th gear unless i click 3 more times over to get to 1st, is this normal in this car, any way to change it?

IF you hold it to the left for a couple of seconds it will go all the way to 1st instead of trapping it each time. It might be about 2 seconds or so

it does downshift, just the screen does not tell you, this transmission will also upshift for you if you leave it in that gear....its kind of weird but better than nothing i guess
