C55 Best Tire Air Pressure?
I have Pirelli's on the front and back which indicate a max pressure of 50 psi. What is the best pressure for both front and rear tires. Here in NYC the roads arent the greatest. Don't want to increase chance of blow outs either. Even still, what is the best pressure to keep them at. Thanks.

I drive in the land of the pothole
I usually run about 34 front and 38 rear, for extended highway (high speed) driving I'll add another 4 lbs in each. Some may think this is too high but I'm happy with that pressure.

For cold inflation pressure I usually use 3 psi over the manufacture's recommendation for all my cars, including my C55. Remember that pressure will increase about 1 psi for every 10 degrees increase in temperature. Accordingly, when driving on a highway, the pressure increases significantly over cold pressure. When driving on a track, the pressure will sometimes increase 10 psi.
It is interesting to drive a car with tire pressure monitors. I have really learned a lot by this method.

If you were often driving in rough bumpy roads city conditions like me; I am using F33 R35 psi that gives comfort as well as good traction and holding. I had two persons on the car and with no sight of performance deficency in doing 200kmh.
