How you do remove the engine cover for a C32? I'm referring to the silver cover with the MB star on it. Its the larger wider silver cover closer to the front of the car, not the two rectangular ones on each side. Is it secured by clips?

There are three friction clips, one in each corner.

Just pull straight up. I usually do the the front center first.

So I just need to pull straight up. I don't have to push down and undo clips before I pull? Are there clips on the left and right? It seems like those two ends aren't clipped to anything.

The C32 only has the front plastic cover. The clips are front center and each rear corner.
The front one is a short horizontal rod that the cover's clip slips over from above.
The two rear clips are like the one in this picture

There's nothing to release by pushing down-just pull firmly (don't yank) upwards at each clip location.

Attachment systems like this are pretty common. Put a tiny layer of grease on the clips' friction points to ease future removal

Just to get up to speed K & N doesn't have filters for the C55. Where do you recommend the purchase of these green filters? Who makes them?
