Offsets

Can someone please shed some light on the following.

Im in the process of buying some 18 inch wheels for my C32, the front two are 18x8 and the rears are 18x9.

What should be an acceptable offset for both front and rear as to avoid any rubbing issues and also to clear the front calipers and to avoid the use of spacers.

Those of you who have upgraded to 18inch wheels wot offsets are you running ???

thank you

You question is too openended. It doesn't say anything about what brand, model, construction, etc. With the multitude of different wheels, manufacturers, etc out there its nothing but a shot in the dark. Reformulating your question would probably gain you more.

35 in front are ok, and 35 or 33 in back should be fine also if it is 9 inches, I have 9.5 in the back with 35 offset and they rub a little. but AMDEUTSCH is correct also, it all depends on the face of your rim, why don't you ask the supplier you are buying from? tommy

your still not syaing what brand wheels this is? any reason for that? i have sold a set of wheels with the correct offset for the c32 and the backspacing was still off so they did not clear the brakes. you really do need to be more specific if you want an answer.
