Hey jt316,
Nothing lasts forever. For my own vehicles and customers that inquire, I go by old school recommendations....Trans every 30,000 miles and rear axle every 60,000. Most customers that purchase tend to follow, if you leased, then who cares - it's not your problem...just follow factory recommendations and don't plan on keeping it when your lease is up.
The trans does however require a very specific type of MB fluid that retails for about $20.00 a bottle and generally you need 9 for torque converter and pan. I would not use anything else - it has some type of fish oil mixed in - not sure why....
The rear axle can use synthetic 90w from Mobil-One.

mb tech: thanks for your reply and information.
I totally agree that nothing lasts forever and I always think that changing the right oils would not cause any problems except for the money spent, although my 3-year-old-car have had only 7000 miles on the clock.
My car jerked when shifting from 1 to 2, now is getting better.
Without flash, I need only 5L of MB trans oil and 1.4L rear axle oil.
