C55 vs S55
hey guys,
here's a good one for you -
I was driving home last night (at around 3:30 am) on the 134 Fwy heading West... needless to say the roads are empty...
I'm cruisng at about 90, tired, trying to get home...
I see lights up a head and by the time I pass him I notice it's a new S55 - nice car 493hp. (Something my father would drive)
I guess the two fellas wanted to show me up...
they catch up to me and when they are about 3 car lenghts behind me (at around 85 mph) they punch thier monster...
Needless to say they flew right by me and by the time I realize what was going on they were about 700 - 800 ft infront of me... but...
I punch my car anyways and not only do I catch the bastrads I keep pulling a head big - we're talking catch up and then go a head 8 car lengths...
and all of this without squeezing the juice (tank was off)
(and they were not holding back!)
Oh the joy -
on another note - Renntech is the best damn aftermarket Co. out there -
I've been having issues with my intake and air box due to the new S/C -
not only did they machine a new intake manifold - they also sent me - are you ready for this - are you sitting down fellas -
a brand new revise S/C kit with the new intake manifold
that's a company backing up their products!
It is all getting installed on Monday/Tuesday (Meridian - under brand new ownership) (I'll take pictures of the process and post them)

I bet those guys thought they would own you pretty easy
