I have finally gotten my damaged black C55 back from the repair shop and now the car is going back to MB Canada and I will be getting a new silver one this Wednesday. I was just wondering if anyone knows if MB can put a LSD into the car or do you have to go get a Renntech or Kleeman unit. I have no problem using a Kleeman LSD, infact that is the plan right now, I was just wondering if MB has LSD's they can use for the C55.

I know that the SL55 comes with an LSD. Can the C55 use the same LSD or is there a large size difference in the LSD between the two cars.

Also is there any difference between the 2005 and 2006 models, I don't think there is but I may be wrong.

Actually, I don't think the SL55 comes with LSD, just the 65's. Here's what I know...

Evosport offers a clutch type LSD for V8 mercs, but I'm not sure if it's for the AMGs.
Quaiffe is working with a tuner right now on a LSD with one unnamed tuner.
Kleeman makes an LSD, but it's a spring type, good for the launch, not for the corners.

Thanks AgentQ, my mistake you're right the SL65 comes with the LSD. Do you think that same LSD would fit in the C55 diff or would you think that there would be a substantial size difference.
