Does anyone use G-Timer from Escort?

Looks pretty cool but wondering if it is accurate or not. Are there any other better tools? Likes/dislikes?
Also, I am thinking about getting the Escort 8500 X50 but I am waiting for the this years review from Speedzones. Test was supposed to be completed 6/26 with results posted mid-july http://www.speedzones.com/
