Fremont has a lot of places. One area I can think of is the Old Costco parking lot or the shopping center across the way which was the old Home Depot. Exit is Stevenson Blvd. West. Not sure I can make it, depends when it is going to be.

hmm since bay area is so big, if it is too troublesome for some to make it across the bay, how about splitting it up. perhaps people in areas could meet together, like a san mateo group, san jose group, and freemont group, and then we all meet somewhere more central to everyone? so like at first meeting up with people within your area and then caravan to a more central location?

let's try to get this going during this summer when people's schedules are likely more free. if everyone's okay with this idea, any suggestions on a centralized location at which all groups of the bay area can meet?

this kinda fell apart, partly my fault. my bad guys!!
lemme suggest next saturday, September 17th. perhaps meet around 11 or so around San Mateo/Foster City Bridgepointe (or nearby parking lot), then we can have lunch or something nearby (red robin?).
i will scope out the location near there, but how does the time/date sound? please offer comments or suggestions for places/dates/times. expat, since you were thread-starter, what's your thoughts on meet details? or i don't mean to hijack, just to get the ball rolling.
if you freemont, sf, or east bay guys want to meet up elsewhere for a similar event that is cool. i know that this is far for some people, so perhaps you guys can meet up at your respective local place first. then i suggest we could all converge together a more central place if people want to see more cars. that way, people can go to just local hangout (without having to drive too far) then have the option to caravan to meet up with members from the more diversified bay area. looking at a map, burlingame seems kinda the midpoint between sf and san jose, etc. how does this sound to everybody?

it can be if there's enough interest. let's all decide on a definite time and place? i suggested saturday at 11 at bridgepointe, anybody have other suggestions if this time/location doesn't work out for majority of people? i'm open to wutever. i don't want to just assume that's the location, but if there's no other suggestion, at least that's a backup.
