doesn't seem like there is enough definite interest to justify tomorrow's meeting on such late notice? sorry guys, partly my fault, for not securing details, but didn't want to just assume details without taking vote or have enough confirmed interest. too bad we couldn't get it together this time, partly my fault. let's set details for time a few days in advance, this gives ppl time to plan and clear up schedules, so we have greater results? next meet, let's take votes, weekday or weekend, day or night? which works best for everyone?

It's not your fault. Bay Area meets often fail because everyone is so non-committal. You just have to set the date/time and whoever shows up shows up!

I'm sure if you guys contact one of the tuner shops or dyno places, they would let you use their parking lot. I know we organized a nice BBQ at CarLab in Santa Clara a few months back. It helps get people familiar with the company, so the owners are generally more than willing to allow it.

yeah, Blake the BBQ we held at CarLab went well.. Darwin and I were discussing that the other day.. So if we get enough interest we could certainly get one organized... I do agree with Trekman giving a 2-3 week notice so we can plan this one..

Yes, advanced notice will certain help given a 2-3 week notice. Maybe sometime in early October. I just no that Oct 8th is hot import nights at the pleasanton fairgrounds for those that are interested.

Why not have this GTG coincide with CarLab's Chipping Day and BBQ event? Tentatively set for 10/8, but will have to confirm details w/Darwin. Maybe some of you can drop by before heading out to Pleasanton. Anyways, I'll be there getting my car chipped, and enjoying the BBQ.

Thanks for keeping this alive, I'm still in favour of a weekday evening meet (preferably southbay) as I can't make weekend meets due to family commitments.
I thought we might have more success with this kind of small informal meet as I keep seeing this kind of get together for other car makes at our local Starbucks.

How about night meet in Milpitas, (McCarthy Ranch area "99 Ranch Market") The food and drink shops open really late. Plus there is plenty of parking. I think next Thursday the 29th @ 7pm is a good start plus we can do a roll call list of who will be there in any event. Please feel free to leave your feed back on this.

Parking shouldn't be a problem since there is alot of activity going on there during those times. Meaning nightlife bars and restaraunt, so it should be accomodating if we were to meet there and grab some food and drink. Let's make it the informal meet @ Ranch 99 on McCarthy Blvd in Milpitas. We can meet @ the Fantasia Coffee spot Thursday 29,2005 @ 7pm.
