Motor trend did a comparison with the 400hp 6.0 GTO and the CTS-V... It's interesting how the CTS-V's 5.7 liter V8 (borrowed from the late Z06) has the same horsepower and torque figures as the 6.0 @ identical RPMs.. Although the CTS-V weighs 110 lbs more, it's 3 tenths/second quicker to 60 and 8 tenth/sec quicker to 100mph.. I'm assuming it's a combination of the gear ratio differences and the fact that the Z06 engine is a little underrated...

Yes, but there is more development around the University and in Moreno Valley.
