Just wanted to say thanks to those who helped us decide on getting the C55 as opposed to the E500. The 06 model is the same as the 05.
This car is very nice!! Have been driving it for only 9 days now, so I still have not opened it up yet all the way. Did have some fun with a 350Z. From his expression afterwards, I do not think he ever knew there was a C class car that was this fast. This really is a fun car to drive. It kinda reminds me of being in a sports car but with a back seat and 4 doors.
Gonna have to wait on wheels, the extended warranty took care of that for now. Will get the new CLK grill along with the flat emblem when it is available. Window tinting is also going on, along with lighted AMG door sills. For those who live in hot climates, you might be interesed in using the front window shades that attach on each side of the window sill and you pull together to close. We have used one of these for the past 8 yrs. on our E420. It is a very convenient accessory to use!!

Congratulations on the new car. I just got my '05 C55 2 weeks ago and I can not drive it enough. Every time I turn the key and hear the engine growl I just get goose bumps. I literally am finding myself making excuses to drive it.
What color/options did you get. Please post some pictures!! I think you are the first '06 C55 on the board.
