do you know if the 05, 06 C55 gauge/instrument cluster will be swappable on my C32 without any problems? I like the new gauge cluster set better...

It's possible, but it's a huge huge job. You have to replace all the wirings from D2B to MOST. Search posts by "Sunman".. he did it. I can only dream.
