What is the final decision for 19"s and offset?
OK, what is the final decision for fitments for 19"s. I have searched the posts and I cant seem find a true fitment. I think I saw 19x8.5 w/a +35 offset for fronts and a 19x9.5 +38 for the rears. Does this look right? If these are correct sizes will ANY rim that meets this criteria fit with no rubbing issues? Do I need to know a specific backspacing so I clear the calipers? I am currently searching the net for some rims and I would like to know what the fitment guidelines are that I need to stay within. I am not looking to go with HRE's Brabus or TSW rims, looking for something "different" like Antharicite colored centers and polished lips. Is there anything else that would effect whether the rims will fit (like clearing the calipers) etc and how can I ask the correct questions (of the rim company) to make sure the rims will fit?
Could people post the following:
1. what size are you running (with offsets)?
ALSO...
2. What tire sizes are you running?
3. If running 19" with 265's (rear) did you have to roll the fender?
4. If you lowered it, what springs did you use and were there any problems?
I really appreciate all the help, maybe someone could post a sticky thread thazt has all this for 18" also. That would probably be extremely helpful.
