that's Bill Gates, not me.

There was a story about Bill Gates coming to a charity event late because he was looking for free parking space. He didn't mind giving away millions of dollars for charity but he did mind paying for parking space when there was free parking space available.

my friend told me Bill Gates' favorite cars are Porsche and Lexus. I don't know where he got the information. Don't know if it's true or not.

Doesn't he have a GS300 or something?
I don't think it really matters. All that matters is what car you have.

What's the point of your post? Did you buy your car to impress the masses? I hope not.
That's a sad existence. I guess we all could all be lemmings and drive a Honda.

C55AMG W203; 330i E90
A W203 52 litre tank will give the C55 a safe 300km run in a mixed drving styles and traffic condition. I fee l that bad traffic jam kills more fuel even than if you frequently stay on 3rd gear in high revs. Guess C32 will waste less fuel in bad jam but equally bad if drive rough and heavy on pedal.
If I count my annual milege (15000km) , the average fuel cost per month is not that bad at all.

How did this post go from gas mileage to Bill Gates and pus....?

Gees, what a combination - gasoline, Bill Gates and a ........

On a serious note - unplugging C32 kompressor adds 2-3 mpg. I am still researching that one.

Of course not... I'm a car enthusiast and love well built sports sedans because I love to drive as evidenced by most of my posts. I'm talking about the people who know nothing about cars and buy fancy cars just to impress their neighbors..

i read in a magazine (article was discussing best cars of all time) that when the 959 came out bill gates and 2 other microsoft guys wanted them really bad but they werent released in the US.

so bill gates called up porsche to discuss importing 3 959's and porsche said "you have to test it and crash it first. i hope you're not planning on crashing one of these". so bill gates arranged for him and a team of software engineers to go to porsche and write a crash simulation.

true story

Okay. I don't think that's "just" Americans that do that. Enough said. Peace.

gas mileage depends on how you drive since any car can do "ok" at 55 other than the exotics...a c32 should get around 25 or so if you go 55 and no a/c but most ppl dont. Common sense, as good of a performer the c32 may or may not be it still gets around 20 city...since thats what most of us get with traffic anyways. even a honda accord gets about the same just bland as hell

But then you would be driving a C320
Come on it can't be that bad (latest price $3.19 )

white and whiter
I was able to get 24-25mpg driving 70mph on the freeway. The only thing I hate is the city driving where the stop and go really kills the gas mileage.

Yes, true. However in morning traffic it is pretty much does not matter.

Now what if you had a button to turn kompressor back on?
