C55/C32 Rentals?
I'm planning on spending a few months in the UK. While I'm in Europe, I'm going to do a little road trip to pick up a friend who is teaching in Heidelburg, Germany. If only for a day, I'd like to see what it feels like to "stretch the legs" without fear of serious legal consequences, however I don't think it's going to be in the right-hand drive E220 Hertz rent-a-mobile.
Does anyone know of a place in southern Germany that rents AMGs? I'd specifically like a C32/C55, but I'd really take anything.

I don't think anyone rents amgs ( I might be totally wrong). I know that Sixt (one of the primary rental companies in Europe) has a specialty rental program (i.e. they rent higher end cars.) They used to Maranellos, 911s, and the supercharged Jaguar XK8. That was like 5 years ago, so I don't know what they currently offer. Go to www.sixt.de and give them a call.

05 C55 AMG, Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 04
Avis in Germany rents some 911's, Sixt also has some high end cars i.e. SL 500,SLK's,BMW 645,BMW 745's..etc.
I highly doubt you will find any AMG's though.
