Hi all - Nice forum! Long time lurker, first time M-B owner. I've been driving BMWs for years, but when the latest generation M3 was not made available in a four-door variant, I went searching. After Car and Driver, this forum, the mercedes-amg-class one and c32life, I was convinced that the C32 was my ride. I've only had mine for a few months. It's a stock 2002 in Brilliant Silver with the two-tone blue/black interior, Nav, etc. I've already surprised a few local M3s, hence my screen name. Mods are coming, plans are for SL55 intake, greenfilters, and pulley kit + chip (probably in that order). My only complaints center on the transmission, but then that is to be expected after years of being spoiled by manual shifting. I think I'd be happy if (1) The car would hold whatever gear I demanded, even if it meant sitting on the rev limiter; and (2) The car would upshift when asked even if I'm at WOT. Sometimes you just want to use the torque to accelerate strongly, not tach the thing so much. Small complaints though, in the big picture.

Congrats on the car. I also bought my C32 about a month ago after having a BMW for years. I just got 19s, CL grille, and flat hood emblem and will be getting the illuminated door sills and the AMG aluminum pedals this week.
I'd love to get the Evo 2 power package, but need to save a little first (and make sure i don't lose my job soon). I hear it really makes a huge difference. I'd love to cut my 0-60 time down by .5 -.7 seconds.
